MUSCLE INJURY: WHAT ARE THERE IT BE?
The causes of muscle injury can be different. Knowing these reasons, along with careful observance of simple precautions, can significantly reduce the risk of injury.

WHY MUSCLE INJURIES ARE HAPPENING?
It seems obvious that the main reason for the injury is excessive loads that do not correspond to the physical preparation of the athlete, or repeated incorrect performance of any movements. But even the most experienced athletes often get muscle injuries, which means that other factors must be taken into account. We will not list all the factors, but focus on warming up and stretching, which are of paramount importance for all sports activities. Muscles should be prepared for intense training. After exercise it is necessary to relieve muscle tension. Stretching increases flexibility, which is of paramount importance under significant loads. In order to avoid injury, the muscles must be not only strong, but also flexible.

In addition, you need to drink enough water during training, as well as before and when it starts. In fact, lack of water in the body significantly reduces physical capabilities. Overloading during training often results in fatigue, which also contributes to injury. If necessary, you should slow down the pace of classes.

MOST COMMON INJURIES DURING FITNESS
There are four most common injuries - each of them has its own characteristics and requires special treatment.

Cramp: the most common and most minor muscle injury is caused primarily by inadequate fluid intake before and after exercise, as well as excessive muscle tension that cannot withstand the applied force.

Contracture: pain, as in a cramp, but lasts longer and is felt mainly after the exercise. A minor but painful injury can be disturbing for five to ten days.

Stretching: occurs after stretching too much muscle fiber, is accompanied by pain during exertion, which may pass, and then reappears during the next workout when stretching the injured muscle. Stretching usually occurs on the hips and calves. Restoration requires rest for ten to fifteen days.

Tear and tear of muscle: occur due to damage to muscle fibers, cause sudden and very sharp pain. In fitness, the main reason for their occurrence is a very strong muscle contraction. Such an injury should be examined by a doctor. Echography is also required to determine the extent of muscle damage.

HOW TO AVOID SUCH INJURIES AND HOW TO EASE THE PAIN AT THEIR ORIGIN?
For each muscle injury, a certain individual treatment is required, however, there are rules that can reduce their number. As mentioned earlier, a good warm-up, stretching and fluid intake significantly reduce the risk of muscle injury. However, it is paramount to know your body and its capabilities. It is necessary to monitor the sensations in the muscles, as certain signs can often precede injury: these can be sensations from simple numbness to very sharp pains. Do not strain the muscle if you feel tired, or if the previous injury makes itself felt.

The following is a list of actions that should be performed in case of pain: immediately stop the load, if possible, apply ice to the damaged muscle and massage for the next few days. It is forbidden to start classes again until full recovery from injury. In case of very serious injury, be sure to consult a doctor.

Thus, there are several types of muscle injuries, and each of them has different degrees of severity. Nevertheless, it is possible to reduce the risk of their occurrence by observing measures.
